Real question is why are you in the ladies bathroom Terry?
That may be true for the Hibachi, but I doubt that would be the case for a regular table, which they have as well.
No, but it would be a nice addition to the menu.
Well we had 5 star service when we went
They can do up to 12 at a table
Yes, you can.
Yes they do
Japanese steak house. We had steak and shrimp and it was excellent.
Good sushi. Great hibachi. Very reasonable.
Regretfully tried this place because Sakura (which we love) had a long wait. That’s $75 in the trash. Feel bad for having my MIL first hibachi experience end up being so terrible.Service was bad. We waited 15 minutes before getting beverages & menus (which we had to ask for). The chef doesn’t do any of the classic hibachi show stuff. The whole vibe of this place was just blah. The place is dirty. Like filthy, dirty. They have old wall unit A/C units that barely work. It was warm in there. Everything felt “sticky.” MIL took my daughter to the bathroom and said it was disgusting. 🤢 The food was eh. Overloaded with soy sauce. And the way the food is handled is unsanitary. All the meat together on these trays that looked super icky. Hopefully we all don’t end up sick. 🤮 Spend your $$ somewhere else. Seriously.
This place has really gone down hill. It is old needs updated and the a/c was not working. We waited for 15 mins to get seated. They only had a waitress/ hostess. We will never go back to this location, and will go to auburndale location instead.
I used to love this place but recently they have been slacking off. The quality of service and food have suffered quite a bit and it is rather sad.
The restaurant was dark and outdated. There was old food still in the cracks of the chair. The food was good for the price not great. The staff had very little interaction with the customers. Zero entertainment value. If you want to walk away full and not spend to much then this is ok for that. Update from a year.. restaurant is still dark and outdated. Still very little interaction from a place that cooks in front of you. Food still night priced.
So this place is owned by the same people in Kissimmee and Altamonte and I think it's just as wonderful nothing has changed and you cannot compare any of them because I've gone to all three and all three have the exact same feelings in each of them and I appreciate that
This place was just kind of okay. The chicken was amazing as was the soup, but the salad dressing was chunky and not very good. You get either rice or noodles, not both, like most similar places would give you, and they don't really out on a show like other places do either. There was little to no wait time, which was nice. When we walked in the door we noticed the floors were slippery. Figured out they are just covered in grease. I was still sliding around the next day at work from all the grease that was on the bottom of my shoes! The place settings and plates were all covered in grease when we were seated as well. All in all, it's definitely authentic- family owned and cozy but given the option of a similar dining option across the street, I probably won't ever come back here again.
Everytime my wife and I order out or eat in with Osaka we are never let down. The food is worth the price, and the staff is great. Two thumbs up always. Try the steak and scallops!
Try to eat here as often as possible..so delicious indeed!
It was ok tbh honest if you have ever been to Sakura u know that coming here compared there you would choose to go there instead.
Food was awesome the cook did an amazing job.. but the service was awful barely came out.. took forever for refills... bathrooms were dirty and smelled awful needs improvement
It's been a favorite with us for years. We like the Special. Salad, soup, steak, chicken, with rice and veggies at a good price. The grandkids like it too.
Take a while to get order ready, but good food, easy takeout and good service
The cook was Vietnamese😊 but otherwise he made our food excellent, and he was very friendly
I love their yum yum sauce!
Osaka is always delicious, every time I visit. The staff are usually prompt and friendly. Occasionally it has been super busy and service a little slow but always worth the wait.
It was okay I guess. The staff messed up our orders many times (i was here on a group trip). The chef cooked with no enthusiasm, and the food was lukewarm. The food was decent, but the floors were sticky and restrooms were defiantly not pleasant. I suggest just going to Sakura down the street if you want a Japanese steakhouse/ Hibachi experience.
Not a place I would frequent. Good was ok except for the rice... not a fan of the sesame seeds they add. Chefs could use a little personality. Complete silence while preparing the meal. Server was friendly.
Good food, nice staff
The best hibachi in Winter Haven.Always great service.
Dead cockroach in the floor. Dirty.
Food is very good, prices are reasonable. Restaurant is so-so. But if they put more into the building, prices would have to go up.
My dinner was delivered from Osaka I ordered filet mignon and noodles I was expecting a piece of meat medium rare with the noodles I had to order filet mignon separate from the noodles we also ordered sushi when it arrived I did not get a filet mignon what I got was a box of beef chunks and a box of noodles the beef chunks we're cold and tough the noodles were saltyThe sushi was stale I will never eat their food again I called and spoke to a lady and told her about the filet mignon being chunks and it was represented wrong when I order filet mignon I do not expect pieces the woman said she would call me back I never did I would not recommend Osaka to anyone
Food tastes bad... Almost forgot sushi until I reminded them then gave me wrong kind. When asked for correct sushi was told that they didn't have what the website said. Then they made the sushi smh.
Great food and lovely staff! The bagel rolls and mixed meat hibachi is my weakness!
This place gets a negative 10. Please do not go waste your money! We went there last night for dinner and it was awful! The place is dirty and gross and the food was so bad I didn’t eat any of it! The kids hated it. They do not offer a true hibachi show even though they are charging high prices. Food had horrible flavor. The rice was disgusting. My steak gross and my husbands chicken was basically all fat and he didn’t even take a single bite! Horrible
I was very disappointed, we heard this was a good place and wanted to go. Our chef cooked with no enthusiasm or style, very sad especially when taking kids. Food was over seasoned and nothing to brag about. I would give it a second chance but there is another place right down the block that we have had a much better experience at.
I like this place. The food is good, the price is good for this style restaurant. It’s nothing fancy, no big show by the cook, he just cooks the food and serves it. I did notice last time I was there they only had low sodium soy sauce. I mean, what the point in that. Soy sauce is the salt of the east. The interior is dated but clean. Like a motel, I would rather east in a clean dated restaurant than a dirty remodeled one.
Our family has been going to Osaka in Winter Haven for decades! A fabulous family run hibachi and sushi restaurant with amazing food! Even though other hibachi restaurants have sprung up around the county, this is still the place we crave. They have a wonderful white sauce that we keep begging them to bottle and sell. They are worth the trip!
Great food, super nice employees, pricing is descent!
I went here for sushi I also have the plum wine It was nice and a fun place to watch chefs prepare in front of you
Great service always fun with the family!
I usually love this place. But tonight we went to go eat there, and one of the staff members saw us pull up and ran to the door and changed the sign to closed.. we were there well over an hour before they we supposed to close lol super unprofessional
The rice in our sushi was stale. Nothing at all tasted fresh! The fried rice and noodles were so salty. The scallops in our sushi tasted fake. The steak was tough. Enough about the food. The inside of the restraunt is very old and musty. I'm afraid to know what the kitchen must be like. The bathroom smelled and was dirty.
They have good food but they NEVER answer their phone. I called for an hour and a half to place an order for pick up and no one ever answered! 😞
Our sushi was great. Outstanding service as well.
Good but i didnt like everything on top of the other, rice, vegs, meat, spread them out
This visit was not good the shrimp and scallops were over cooked and very small portions on my plate oh and my vegetables were burnt
My daughter loves Japanese steakhouses. We typically go to Osaka. However the last time we went the chef dumped half of my chicken on the table making it inedible. Today I ordered food to go paid to have white meat because their dark meat is all fat. Didn’t get the white meat I paid for and the rice and noodles tasted like they either had too much teriyaki sauce or they are burnt. Either way wasted 25 dollars and I still have to order food for my daughter to eat.
This place didn't stand out to well with me. The service was great but the food didnt have to much flavor while being cooked. Usually at any Japanese Stackhouse you get noodles with your meal. This place did not. We had ruched to order and didn't know if it was something we had to ask for. The cook seemed like he was in a bad mood or just didn't want to be there. I brought a friend that has never been to a Japanese Stackhouse and it was a bummer that it was an meh okay experience.
Love it been here 2 times in 2 weeks.. food is delicious.. friendly staff and prices are reasonable.. they have a kids items on menu.. and took the left overs for lunch the next day.. oh yes the ginger dressing on their salad is to die for..
It was good a couple years ago.... now the inside is greasy, almost fell a couple times trying to walk. Ordered the steak and chicken with rice. Chicken wasn’t cooked all the way, RAW in the middle and I’m pregnant which could’ve hurt my baby.... steak was medium rare and i asked for medium well. Usually they cut the steak in slices, it was in chunks and very fatty. Would rather go across the street to sakura and pay a little more for it to be cooked how i like it or cooked at all....
This was the first Osaka location I ever went to and up until recently it was my preferred choice over the one in Auburndale. I still go to this one if I am in the area, but the Auburndale location is now more convenient and its quality has improved since its remodel. The Winter Haven one could do with a little bit of the same, at least appearance wise. The atmosphere and food is still great though :)
If I could give a 0 I would! Worst Japanese I have ever had. They don't give you enough food and want to charge you for every little thing. $1 for an extra egg in the rice. They only put one egg in the rice.
Best Japanese steakhouse by far. Been going there for over 20 years. Nice owners and employees
Delicious food and very nice people!
Nothing like Leesburg Osaka way higher priced and way less food then Leesburg's. Food was pretty decent.
My family loves Osaka and we like to eat there regularly. The staff are all very nice and they know the regular customers very well. They are always friendly to us and have the kiddie chopsticks available for my 2 daughters. The food is very good and always a large portion. While there is no "show" - we don't go to restaurants for shows....we go for great food, running into friends, and always having a to go box for lunch the next day. It's a great local restaurant.
